The Iron Goat Restaurant has breathtaking views of the infamous Canmore mountain ranges that can be enjoyed from their outdoor patio in summer, or indoors with their floor to ceiling wall of windows (make sure to get there before dark!). There is a wide menu selection with something for everyone, and our meals there have always been top-notch, but the ambiance of this place is really our favourite part of the experience!

Searching for butter chicken in Canmore? Look no further! The Spice Hut features a comprehensive menu, great for specialty diets, packed with Indian Cuisine which will surely satisfy your Indian food cravings! Lots of great options for vegetarian and gluten-free diets!
Communitea Cafe has nice breakfast and lunch menus with some tasty daily soups and a fun atmosphere, with lots of options for vegan/vegetarian diets.
Bridgette Bar is a local favourite just a few blocks from the condo, known for its chef-driven menu, cozy atmosphere, and excellent service. Be sure to check out their happy hour (daily from 2–5 PM), featuring half-price drinks and pizza—one of the best deals in town!
A local favourite-- Where the Buffalo Roam Saloon-- is located downtown on Main Street. Having a great beer menu, craft cocktails with attention to detail, and a primarily tapas-style sharing menu, this is a trendy and intimate setting for a neat dining experience!
Blondies Cafe is our go-to spot for coffee, smoothies, and quick grab-and-go snacks. Located just a few blocks from the condo, it is a convenient and reliable stop before heading out for the day.
Canadian Pizza Unlimited is our go-to in Canmore for a quick, easy pizza night at home. It is a great option for tasty, no-fuss takeout that is satisfying and reasonably priced!
Banff
Añejo is our go-to taco & margarita joint in the Bow Valley. Their generous happy hour special featuring tacos & margaritas makes Añejo one of our favourite restaurants in Banff. Happy hour starts at 3PM daily!
Pro tip: Order 6 tacos at once, and order all 6 flavours.

Afternoon Tea at the Banff Springs Hotel is an incredible experience! You get a tower of dainties and treats, along with your tea, and you get to enjoy the beautiful views from the expansive windows! Nothing beats a good cup of tea with great company, in our books! Reservations must be made in advance, and can be done online.

We love the flavour of wood-fired food, and Bluebird certainly delivers! They have a Prime Rib which is a definite favourite! They also have 1/2 price fondue from 4-5PM daily during their Happy Hour. A great place to cozy up in chillier weather, or a great place to enjoy on their patio in the warmer weather!

Bear Street Tavern is our favourite place
for pizza in Banff! They have a great pizza selection, and are known for their unique flavour additions of honey and chili oil-- the perfect way to sweeten and spice all the fun pizza flavours!

Balkan Restaurant in Banff is also another classic that Alex and I frequent in our time out in the mountains! Wonderful Greek cuisine that never disappoints! *Every Friday and Saturday The Balkan hosts its Greek Night, featuring Greek dancers, and plate smashing! Reservations recommended!
Three Bears Brewery & Restaurant is a local favourite, offering a fantastic variety of meals in a warm and stylish space that is full of character. Their in-house brewery features rotating seasonal beers, making it a great spot to try something new while enjoying a relaxed meal in Banff.
Sky Bistro is located at the top of Sulphur Mountain, offering breathtaking panoramic views from its floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Banff and the surrounding peaks.
